First Aid + CPR Training

TAC Aquatics is proud to offer a comprehensive training course for CPR and Standard First Aid. The need for first aid programming is significant across Canada. The Worker Safety and Insurance Board requires most individuals to have some knowledge of first aid. Our first aid courses will allow you to learn essential First Aid and CPR skills through our variety of courses. Each course includes comprehensive instruction with practical hands-on components and training materials.

Courses Offered:

Standard First Aid and CPR (A,B,C, HCP)/AED

Duration: 14 hours

This course is a comprehensive two day course that covers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The course meets provincial legislation requirements for the worker safety and insurance board. This course is ideal for anyone who needs training to meet work requirements, or for those who wish to learn how to respond to emergencies that may happen around them.  

Emergency First Aid and CPR (A,B,C,HCP)/AED

Duration: 7.5 hours

This course offers basic information on lifesaving first aid skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The course meets provincial legislative standards as required by the worker safety and insurance board. This would be an ideal course for those individuals who want only a basic understanding of lifesaving skills.

Completion

Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation

Certification

3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A, C, or HCP, and AED
